The Story

Jolley's Ranch disc golf course is located at Jolley's Ranch Campground in Payson Canyon, on U.S. Forest Service land east of Springville, Utah. The course opened around 2015 and quickly became one of the highest-rated courses in the state, currently sitting at #3 in Utah on UDisc with a 4.63 rating from over 2,300 reviews.

The course takes advantage of the mountain canyon setting at elevation, with the front 9 playing through more open terrain with moderate elevation changes and the back 9 transitioning into tighter wooded lines with significant technical shot-shaping demands. Both short and long tee pads are available, though not every hole has both positions. The course features good signage and well-maintained tee pads.

The mountain setting delivers views that reviewers consistently call out as a highlight. The course plays alongside a river on several holes and through stands of pine and oak. As a campground course, it attracts both locals from the Springville/Payson area and visitors camping in Payson Canyon. Cell reception can be unreliable in the canyon, so downloading UDisc maps in advance is recommended.

Phenomenal course - Wish this was my home course. Great variety of shots, good tee pads/signage, and awesome views.

Very solid 18 hole course. Great shot variety & nice mix of distances. Grassy & park style for a lot of the course. Park is maintained well. Amazing views all around. Worth a visit 100%!

marciniak1★★★★

A really great park style course. Playing alongside the river is really fun and I just wish there were fewer wide open shots. Definitely worth your time to come out and play.

sanholo★★★★★

This course is really fun and flows really well. The holes are hard and challenging but not frustrating. There is also a good mix of open shots and tough, technical shots. Everything is well maintained and in good condition.

warbow99★★★★★

Good mix of technical woods and open shots, not super beginner friendly but definitely all skill levels welcome. Signage is great.

Maintenance

Located on U.S. Forest Service land within Jolley's Ranch Campground. General campground maintenance is handled by the USFS. The course benefits from its campground setting with maintained grounds, but disc-golf-specific upkeep (basket positioning, tee pad repair, vegetation clearing) relies on community effort. Sprinkler schedules occasionally affect play. The course can be muddy or snowy in early spring.
